Arran bed and breakfast - Quietly situated close to the centre of Brodick and only 10 minutes walk from the ferry, The Glenartney has glorious views over to Goat Fell and Brodick Bay.

We are in easy reach of all our famous peaks and over 55 miles of meandering coastline with a long list of fauna and flora to see along the way.

The area is also offers a  huge variety of outdoor activites including golf, hiking, climbing, mountain biking, horse riding, pony trekking and sea kayaking.  Please look at our things to do page for more information.

Arran bed and breakfast -

Find your way up to the M74 and on the the A71 (junction 8). Head west along the A71 at Strathaven. Continue on to Irvine. Then find the A78, you will see brown tourist signs for Ardrossan and the ferry terminal. From Glasgow and Central Scotland. Take the M77 to Kilmarnock and on to the A71 to Irvine. From Irvine via the A78 to Ardrossan and the ferry terminal.

North Scotland and the Western Isles
You have the scenic route in the summer months by travelling via the ferry from Claonaig, on the mainland, to Lochranza, on the north of Arran. Always remember to book your car onto the Ardrossan to Brodick ferry. You can book with Caledonian MacBrayne via the button to the right or ring on

BY TRAIN
Trains from Glasgow Central run in conjunction with the ferry sailings from Ardrossan.Transfers can be made from Glasgow Airport at Paisley, Gilmour Street and from Prestwick Airport at Kilwinning.

Alternatively taxis can be booked to take you to the ferry (see transport to Arran link)

BY FERRY
Several daily trips run between Ardrossan and Brodick and take approximately 55 minutes. The ferry has dining facilities, bar and small shops to keep you entertained on the way.

We are in easy reach of all our famous peaks, over 60 miles of meandering coastline along the newly opened Arran coastal way and a large variety of fauna and flora.

We are the outdoor enthusiasts dream!

The Glenartney has been recently renovated by us and offers excellent accommodation and the perfect environment for a memorable stay. You may think that we are a little biased, so we have included some quotes from our guests to give you a better feel of our guesthouse.

A deposit of one night’s accommodation is required to secure the room reservation, if the deposit is not received within 10 days of the booking we will assume it is cancelled.

A deposit of 50% is required for the short breaks.

Should you wish to cancel your reservation we require notice by 2pm, 3 days prior to the date of arrival. The accommodation part of your deposit will be refunded only if we are able to fill the room allocation. A cancellation charge of £5, to help cover bank and administrative expenses, will be made.
